Good afternoon folks!
Today I bring you another in my series of real life people who resemble the characters I've created for my original fiction. Much thanks to
azardarkstar and
mandalee1013 for their suggestions on these characters!
First up! We've got a character from my slashy urban fantasy Shady Hill of which I've not posted whole chapters yet, but I have made snippets available. I've already introduced Jasper Cole from Shady Hill, but today I'm introducing Alessander "Sander" Meredith who is Jasper's lover and the "third" in command of Rhapsody's gang. Sander's real life equivalent is Andy Whitfield, whom you may recognize from the TV series Spartacus: Blood and Sand.
Next up! Let me introduce you to Sabriel Arlen, who is one of the secondary characters from my fantasy series, Infinity's End, and has a more prominent role in Whispers of Yesterday. Sabriel is one of azardarkstar's recommendations and I have to say, she was spot on. His Real Life representation is Jason Carter, whom many of you might recognize as Marcus Cole from Babylon 5. Every bit of him in this pic matches except the fact he has TWO eyes since Sabriel wears an eyepatch on account of only having one eye.
Third in line! Meet Alexander Worthy, better known as Alex, who is one-half of an angsty pairing in my oneshot series, A Thousand Words. Alex is usually seen with Wesley, who was featured in a previous post as Alex Denisof. I discovered Alex's Real Life match-up whilst I was watching the TV series Lost and I noticed Liam Pace (Charlie's elder brother) resembled Alex in certain scenes. Lightbulb moment. Neil Hopkins, the actor who plays Liam, is therefore Alex's Real Life counterpart. He is a bit younger than Alex, but other than that, it's a great match! Especially with those glasses!
And lastly, I bring you a handsome man who was the focus of a character highlight recently, and now gets a pic to go with that highlight. Malcolm Wyndham, from my original fantasy series Infinity's End, is a secondary character. As previously mentioned, his Real Life counterpart is Sam Worthington, whom we all know from either James Cameron's Avatar, or the Clash of the Titans remake or Terminator: Salvation. The clothes don't match, but the rest is all good.
And that's all for tonight!
Got a character you want to see? Let me know! I'll start to search for who I think fits the bill. Otherwise, it'll be a toss-up. lol.
