Help Wanted

So if anyone's got some free time and would like to help an author out, I'm looking for a couple of people.
I've got a Bluestreak/Jazz oneshot that could really use a beta, mostly because I have a wandering tense in this particular fic and I'll be pantsed if I know how to fix it. It's about 2500 words and part of my Coping Mechanisms universe (with Undisclosed Desires and Collateral Damage)
Secondly, I've got an original fic that I'm hoping to self-publish (actually two but I'm more worried about this one) and I could really use someone to read through it and give me an honest opinion on what I need to fix. Namely, pacing, plot, description, character development, etc. I can take criticism and if your end opinion is that the whole thing is not worth the time spent reading it, I need to know. I'd hate to offer an inferior product to my readers. This fic is about 38,000 words long though with the way I'm editing it, expect to see it lose another 2000 words. (I had a thing for adverbs when I wrote it. *shudders*)
I'm willing to do fic trades, beta trades, what have you. Equivalent exchange and all that.
