Oct. 1st, 2014 07:17 pmAnother month. Phew. Feels like I'm running out of time. RL is totally kicking my aft and not in the fun way, but bit by bit, I'm accomplishing some things.
I'm literally five pages away from finishing writing Break of Day Part II. All that I have to do after that is type it up. Of course, then there's the whole revise and edit, but the hard part will be done. Phew.
What's my goal for October? First and foremost, outline and plot East of Eden in preparation for NaNoWriMo.
Aside from that, I plan on doing the final revisions of Aftermath by half at the very least. That leaves me 46 pages to edit. I can totally do that. I also intend to work on my Shady Hill rewrite and my goal is twenty pages on the rewrite. Since I'm currently hitting a rate of about three paragraphs a day, this might be stretching it.
I also want to write two ficlets and post them for your reading enjoyment. Not sure what they will be in. Perhaps The Requiem of Janus since I haven't worked on that sequel in a while.
So that's October. I'm trying to keep my goals doable so I feel less of a failure.
