March Madness
Mar. 1st, 2015 07:29 pmEugh. Where did January and February go? Too fast, I say!
Let's recap February. I managed to do a re-read of A Tale of Two Geeks and highlight some weaknesses so now it's ready for me to re-draft before I offer it up for feedback. I also began editing and posting Prisoner of Conscience as a free read and getting that put out there for the consumption of the public. I started plotting a bit more on Quisling. And I added like three pages to Fugue of Shadows. I wouldn't call February either productive or successful, but it wasn't a complete waste.
So March will be better.
Well, first things first, I'm going to tackle is the self-publishing of Monster. I plan to do every part of that this month short of actually publishing it, since I still need to find a cover artist. But for now, I'm going to edit, issue the all-call for people to give it a read through, and finalize the format. I've got some tugs on my fishing line for a cover artist, so all I might be waiting on is the feedback and final edits. Yay! Good thing is, if this cover artist works out, then I can probably get a few more pieces of cover art made even for my non-publishing pieces just so I have something to work with. Excitement!
I have a lot of fanfiction I'm going to be working on but March is mainly the month of Monster. Hah. I'm also considering re-titling it since Monster is kind of generic, though I still think it suits the story perfectly.
Oh, and I plan on adjusting my original fic tumblr so that I can reblog and shit from it so that I can find this stuff easier than digging through my dracoqueen22 tumblr. It's going to be nicolewilkinsonwrites, which is almost the same as what I have now except without the dashes. Huzzah!
And that's March. Here's hoping this new job doesn't continue to sap my free time.
