That means we should return to our regularly scheduled updates and I can get back to work. I'm so happy!
So today, I thought I'd share some sketches. I'm no great artist by any means, but I did go through a phase where I managed to sketch out a few things. And I thought you might enjoy seeing them. Click to see the larger image.
We have Alcaeus and Janus from The Requiem of Janus is a piece I call "Before the Fall". A tender moment that doesn't actually happen in the fic, but eh, one can dream. And maybe it happens in the sequel, yes? For those unfamiliar, Alcaeus has white hair and Janus has black hair.
This one is called "Such Beautiful Elegance" and it, too, is from The Requiem of Janus. It's a scene that you won't find in the book, one that I ended up having to cut as it didn't quite fit.
This is a sketch of Frost and Raven, both characters from the series War of the Animum. Raven is the one on the left and Sleet on the right. Sleet's sketch is a little iffy, I have better ones of him that I'll have to bring out later.
And last but not least, the never before seen sketch of Baldir and Alcaeus, both from The Requiem of Janus and this is a vision of the past, Alcaeus and Baldir in their younger years. Baldir is on the left and Alcaeus on the right. Note that I'm unhappy with Alcaeus' appearance, but I simply adore Baldir in this. *laughs*
